Andes Cup Delivers High-Level Freestyle at Valle Nevado

Valle Nevado’s snow park recently hosted an international Freestyle Ski and Snowboard competition of the highest caliber. The Andes Cup marked the start of the South American Cup Park & Pipe series and brought together nearly 40 elite athletes from over six countries. This highlevel freeski and snowboard event is part of the South American Cup circuit, which awards points towards the world circuit and can also qualify competitors for the World Cup. The Olympic disciplines of Slopestyle and Big Air for Snowboard and Freeski were featured, with two competitions held for each event. The first part of the week offered sunny and perfect conditions, while the latter half saw cloudier, windier weather—yet the athletes still delivered top-notch performances.
